I signed up for an iStockPhoto account today. I’m trying to make things look more visually appealing. If putting a picture of a hot blonde listening to music doesn’t make the posts look better, I don’t know what will! Hehe.. actually, I see that iStockPhoto has a “free image of the week” and this just happens to be it. It kind of flowed into one of the posts that I’ve been considering writing for a bit.
And here’s one of a screaming zebra. I’m not sure who needs a picture of a screaming zebra, but hey.. just in case there’s a demand for such a picture, they have one in their free gallery. Actually, the more that I look at it, I don’t think the zebra is screaming. I think that it’s yawning! That zebra is bored! Maybe that’s why they provide it free, rather than charging for it. Who wants to buy a picture of a yawning zebra? Certainly not me. Maybe the stalking lion, which no doubt exists somewhere in their massive library.
I should probably get good use out of the free pictures because when I start actually buying the others, it looks like they can get pricey in a hurry. I do like the fact that you can just buy credits on a “pay as you go” system, which makes it a little easier to manage.
Think of it an an investment.
And they’re so purdy…
