Well That Didn’t Take Long…

by Stephen on January 6, 2012

5 days.

And the strange this is, I didn’t even realize that I was breaking my “streak” until this morning… Day 6.  As I got up to get ready for work, I remembered that last night I had come down stairs in a funk and grabbed a 2L bottle of Coke from the summer kitchen and chugged back a few mouthfuls.  It was a tiny bit frozen from being outside.  Or as I like to call it… it was a little slice of heaven.

5 days.

Keep telling yourself that Coke is BAD, BAD, BAD! Treat it like poison.
Worked with me and chocolate. Chocolate, up until September, was one of my main food groups, now I barely touch it.

I’m just raising my eyebrow at the fact you have a “summer kitchen”??? Do you have the opposite… a winter kitchen????

Ohhhh the differences of living found in the different countries!!! lol :)

That’s ok. I didn’t know what a summer kitchen was either until I moved into this old farmhouse… I had to ask. No one gets that reference unless they have one… so you’re not alone! It’s set off from the main part of the house… Mum can explain it better, but I guess that they used to prepare food there in the summer… there’s still an ancient sink set there, but I don’t know if it even has water coming out of those pipes, and I would be scared to even look. I’m so used to referring to the summer kitchen…. but unless you’ve come to visit me, you have no idea what it is. Speaking of which, when are you coming to visit me?!? :-)

Well, if you did not have it at the house at all, you would not have been tempted to drink it in the first place. ;-)
